LASER WELDING

We provide excellent laser welding services that cater to all types of plastic moulds from all kinds of industries. Laser welding can also weld steel, aluminium as well as berrylium copper. This includes the automotive industry (up to 2 tons), such as the Proton MiVi mould, all types of electrical appliances such as air conditioners, hi-fi, vacuum cleaners, remote controls, hand phones and even tooth brushes, etc.

We also specialize in laser welding machinery precision parts for all kinds of industries.

Equipments
The main two large high tech equipments includes the Star Weld Tool Open as well as the latest HGL-LWY200M that caters to larger moulds. The other state-of-the-art equipment includes the Vision Laser Welding Machine (LWIIV) which predominantly services smaller moulds.
Star Weld Tool OpenStar Weld Tool Open
This extremely versatile and flexible system, the Star Weld Tool Open is for mould repair and laser welding of up to 0.88mm. The Laser is a complete stand alone system that incorporates all necessary functions such as cooling, moving, etc.

HGL-LWY200M (NEW)
TPLW’s latest addition, the HGL-LWY200M laser welding machine uses Xe-lamp that shines high energy laser beams as its laser cavity. It is also a versatile tool as it can be adjusted to meet required pulse’s width and frequency.

Vision Laser Welding Machine (LWI IV)
LWI IV comprises of a complete workstation that enables a wide range of general welding applications, capable of producing high quality welding on most metals and alloys. It is a laser welding machine which is a Class 4 plused Nd:YAG laser using filler materials for precision repair and build-up. Precision welding is performed with the operator holding the parts in his hands or jig while viewing the parts through a stereomicroscope.

ARGON WELDING

Similar to laser welding, argon welding can weld steel, aluminium as well as berrylium copper. It results in a harder surface that possibly requires polishing. The state-of-the-art equipment used here include the CIGWELD 300Amp DC Digital Controlled Inverter Welding Machine (Model: Transtig 300Pi).
